The retail performance of vegetable categories for the year ending June 2024 shows notable variations in both volume and value growth. Despite some declines, the majority of categories demonstrated stronger growth driven by a combination of higher volumes and improved prices.

The retail performance of vegetables for the year ending June 2024 reveals notable variations across different categories. In terms of value growth, cabbages saw a substantial increase of 32%, while broccoli followed closely with a 25% rise. However, onions and potatoes experienced a decline, each falling by 5%.

Volume growth also displayed a range of outcomes. Celery led the way with a 13% increase, followed by spring onions and zucchinis, both recording a 10% rise. In contrast, capsicums and Asian vegetables saw decreases of 8% and 7%, respectively.
