Vegetable Price Trends June 2026: Sweet potatoes and potatoes led wholesale price gains this quarter, while beans and broccoli recorded the largest declines.

The June quarter of 2026 saw mixed movement across key vegetable categories, with several products recording solid gains while others experienced significant declines. Our latest Vegetable Price Trends June 2026 analysis shows the strongest growth was concentrated in root vegetables and seasonal lines, while a number of fresh produce categories softened compared with the same quarter last year.

Sweet potatoes recorded the strongest growth, rising 37% compared with the same quarter last year. Potatoes increased 21%, followed by pumpkins at 16%. Asparagus grew 16%, while Asian vegetables were up 14%, completing the top five categories with positive movement.

At the other end of the market, beans recorded the largest decrease, falling 53% for the quarter. Broccoli declined 31%, while tomatoes eased 31%. Peas were down 25%, and lettuce decreased 25%, rounding out the five categories with the largest declines.
