The fruit retail trends in Australia for 2025 reveal strong value and volume growth across several standout categories in the June quarter.

Leading the way were:

  • Watermelons: +35.91% value, +37.09% volume
  • Kiwifruit: +35.72% value, +38.36% volume
  • Avocados: +39.29% value, though volume fell -15.92%
  • Oranges: +18.21% value, +11.55% volume
  • Grapes: +15.88% value, +10.36% volume

Other categories such as plums, apples, nectarines, mangoes, and peaches also recorded solid gains.

By contrast, declines were most evident in:

  • Pineapples: -7.07% value, -17.67% volume
  • Strawberries: -1.58% value, -12.82% volume

  • Mandarins: +6.57% value, but -2.26% volume
