Northern Dairy Industry Outlook

Freshlogic has been commissioned by the key sector stakeholders in the dairy industry in Queensland and Northern NSW to undertake a regular independent assessment of the Northern Dairy Industry to analyse the current and future milk supply and market prospects. 

The work draws on data provided from the Situation and Outlook Report undertaken by Freshlogic with Dairy Australia, information provided by processors, and our own independent analysis.  This work draws on surveys of farmer intentions undertaken by Dairy Australia, milk processors and QDO.

The aim of the analysis is to provide industry, its suppliers and stakeholders with a better understanding of the realities facing farmers and processors.

The process was commenced in 2007 and has been updated in June 2010.
