Much of our work involves helping clients influence outcomes of others - whether that refers to decisions made by people in their own organisation, in their supply chain or in their stakeholder base. Before a product or solution is developed, an understanding of the knowledge management approach is crucial.
Our approach to working with clients in the development of whole or partial solutions to knowledge management includes recognising that imparting "knowledge" is more advanced in challenge and complexity than "information", and that solutions require an approach to understanding and managing people which is as much as if not more important than managing information.
An effective knowledge management approach is based on the following essential building blocks:

- Establishing and maintaining a process that transforms information to knowledge
- A network platform to share & access information, which includes a well-structure web-based platform
- A relational library/database for the storage of information
- A decision-support system
- A process to capture and monitor of feedback on the overall system - with an open mind to address what it provides!
